About "Boniblu"

We are a small factory and retail showroom located in a very unique setting known as THE CAJUN VILLAGE, in the heart of "plantation country" in South Louisiana, between New Orleans and Baton Rouge

Our collection of authentic ACADIAN buildings date back as far as c1820. Tourists from all over the world have visited The Cajun Village and Boniblu, as well as locals, who still find these historic buildings fascinating and fun.

The dwelling that houses Boniblu, (called the Darrow L), dates from 1860. The interior of this "L" shaped house remains very much as it looked originally. Only the walls in the factory area have been changed to accomodate a commercial kitchen.

Tourists and locals are often curious to "peek" and see how the candles are made.
